Hey Nik, there's a similar event in Poland. Always at the begining of May in Wroclaw Guinnss Record beating is taking place. This year over 6000 guitarists played Jimi's Hey Joe at once

yes, i have seen on Wiki that such music festival take place in a lot of cities in the world.
Well, actually i don't know the criteria for those Guiness records, but the most important is the event and sharing the music. I'm sure that the great Jimi would find that nice too

It's with a lot of pleasure that i learn this right now : The regiment Normandie-Niémen of the French Air Force, a unit with prestigious history during WW2, will be officially reactivated on June 25th at Mont-de-Marsan air force base.

PS : Even if Normandie-Niémen was created as an air force squadron, i speak here about a regiment, because in French Air Force, a regiment consists in three squadrons.
