SAINT-QUENTIN-EN-YVELINES, France

Nearly a century ago, Robert Marchand was told by a coach that he should give up cycling because he would never achieve anything on a bike.
He proved that prediction wrong again on Wednesday.

In a skin-tight yellow and violet jersey, the 105-year-old Frenchman set a world record in the 105-plus age category -- created especially for the tireless veteran -- by riding 22.547 kilometers in one hour.

Russia moves toward decriminalizing domestic abuse

If you're a man in Russia you can beat your wife or daughter until she
can't walk no more and never be accused of violence. That's if you do
it once a year. But who counts those beatings anyway. Those who propose
this law say that this is what family is all about. It's a bit funny because
lately I've heard lots of pro-family movements... the great orthodox family

"According to Russian government statistics, around 40 per cent of all
violent crimes are committed within families. 36,000 women are assaulted
by their partners every day, and 26,000 children are attacked by their parents
every year."

If this wasn't enough, all of this was proposed by a woman :/

UFO, mental control ... You can now consult 930 000 top secret documents of the CIA :gasp:

Records Search Tool (CREST) CIA was set up to answer a need for transparency on the actions of the agency of piece of information. Introduced in 1995 by Bill Clinton, the disqualification had until now only not much visibility. Only a room of National Archival and Records Administration (NARA) of the Maryland proposed an access to these documents between 9 am and 4:30 pm. It is only having been taken to court by the association Muckrack and the putting under pressure by the projects of the American journalist Mike Best that CIA decided to publish these top secret documents. The implementation of the CREST establishes a considerable advance regarding freedom of information, offering to everyone a performing tool to lift the veil on secret held data.

For the curious here is the link and click on the library tab.

PS: Attention on your subjects of search (Islam etc.) it is can be a trap to spy you:slap:

Romania is in the streets again because the government last night
integrated an emergency ordinance for the amnesty of those who are
in prison for "certain reasons". Of course it's aimed at politicians who
had no problems with the uncivilized jails and now that all jails in Romania
are full of politicians, they try to make laws so that abuse of power is
not sanctioned.

Around 300.000 now, they say. Maybe half a million around the country
in a few days if the government keeps this up.

(just a corner) :D
