There is a small possibility that there would be a civil war here
in Romania. Those that protest in the streets in the last few days
by hundreds of thousands are not favorable of any party system.
They only ask that the fight against corruption continue.

What party in this world would come to a TV station and say that
they will come with their hundreds of thousands and march against
those who are sick of living in a corrupt country? It's a party that won
45% of the Parliament at the last election of only 40% of people who
had the right to vote. That means that thieves can be voted with 18%,
have a government supported only by the corrupt, incompetent and
those who are socially assisted in our country, basically the poorest.
It's those people who find 5 Euros on the street and put it in their
pocket saying that it belongs to them, it's their "right".

Total mess on TV here too. In more civilized countries many of these
politically favorable television posts that instigate to hatred. There's so
much distortion of truth in the so called free press here that's hard to
believe this will not end with violence here.

It all started in Nov 2014 at presidential elections when Romanians
abroad were making long lines and couldn't vote in the 1st Round.
When those at home, who had some integrity and hope left, saw this,
they turned the table against a socialist party with 20% for the candidate
who was certainly beaten. The same honest people turned down the
socialist Government in Oct 2015 when a rock club burned having 64
dead and many burned. It turned out that less than 10% of clubs in this
country have a legal right to function. You can actually burn to death if
a fire starts. The socialists say it's the Right party that did all of this, like
it was a setup. The problem here is that the Right party is also made of
socialists with a different attitude, but the same at corruption.

Yes, it's a fragile Democracy in Romania, because people are not able
to learn strong western principles after 50 years of Communism. Then
again, it's the Democratic right and the so called freedom of expression
which is a two edged sword, that can lead to this. Here is where Democracy
fails, in a country where the majority is sick of corruption, but the corrupt
are able to win by manipulating a small part of the electorate, sometimes
saying that the others don't want Romanians to be united.

It will either stop with a bang, making big news all over the world or this
S**T will go on for generations.

In Italy there's corruption too, mate. Fortunately after WW2 we were with Americans. If we went with URSS, today we would be poorer than Burundi. Even the Simpsons talked about it :sarcy:
