Hi guys
Has anyone here bought any books from Google Books? I wanted to
know if they have availabe formats like pdf for downloading to PC. I see
they support responsive designs for phones and different readers, but
I don't know if they allow to download as files to PC. I don't want to
download a book I buy in a library and then waste days trying to manage
it in a different format.
"For reading on e-readers or third-party apps, ebooks can be downloaded
in the EPUB ("flowing text") or PDF ("scanned pages") formats. The advantage
of EPUB has over PDF is that it allows the book's text to adjust or 'reflow'
automatically to different screen sizes. Books of which only a PDF version is
available can be difficult to read on smaller screens." - from Wiki on Google Books
It says nothing about PC compatible. Kindle has them DRMed, but you can get
a program to remove the DRM, but then there's the issue that some books, like
the book below, it has a crappy format for epub/mobi.
Btw, the book looks pretty good, I think it's printable format.
Take a look at the book on Google Play Books
Take a look at the on Amazon as Kindle
I would get it from Amazon for Kindle, but their ebook format is crap. I don't
know why they don't allow a download for the printable version OR get someone
to make it look better.
Thanks.
