C'mon, another cock-and-bull story about a so called elite unit of the Second World War...

WTH, who has already heard about these guys there? SAS? What is that, SAS? Super Admiralty Secretary? So Aged Sandman?

Pfff... Frankly, i'm pissed off with these gossip there... If these guys had really existed, i would know it, no? And moreover, it's a recent book, released in 2013 and written by a guy who works at the academy of the Memorial of Caen, who wrote a book about Omaha beach, an other one about the landing in Normandy and who is a co-author of the Larousse of the Second World War... One might as well say a noob... And, if i'm allowed to add,...

- Mmmmm, Nik... ?
- Yes Sir ?
- Wall...

- :leave:

The good three of a kind for knowing (almost) everything about the Lorient submarine base, written by Luc Braeuer, director of the Museum of the Great Bunker . Website is in French, English and German.

(Well, i say almost everything, because this book will not show you some strategic spots, as the hideout for bottles of beer on the roof of the K3, by example...) :sarcy:

Seriously now, a very interesting work, with a lot of explanations and pictures. According to the author, the fourth volume about Lorient-Keroman submarine base is planned for 2015.

As you will see on the Great Bunker website, Luc Braeuer also wrote books about Brest and Saint-Nazaire submarine bases, operation Chariot and others about WW2.

I saw a documentary yesterday evening about the Lorient U-boat bunkers.
I didn't watch it until the end.
