India: a pigeon suspected of being a Pakistani spy placed in detention

Pakistani accused of being a spy, a pigeon was detained by Indian police. The animal was found carrying a threatening letter to India, near the heavily militarized border with Pakistan.

The volatile, with a message in Urdu clinging to the leg, was discovered by border police in the city of Pathankot, in the Indian Punjab. That's the same place as the attack on an Indian army base by insurgents based in Pakistan, killed seven people in January. The letter was signed by the jihadist group Lashkar-e-Taiba, author of the Mumbai attacks of 2009. "We take the threat very seriously," said Rakesh Kumar, police inspector contacted by telephone

How far will they go?

Russia has unveiled chilling pictures of its largest ever nuclear missile, capable of destroying an area the size of France.:(
The RS-28 Sarmat missile, dubbed Satan 2 by Nato, has a top speed of 4.3 miles (7km) per second and has been designed to outfox anti-missile shield systems.
The new Sarmat missile could deliver warheads of 40 megatons - 2,000 times as powerful as the atom bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945.

I thought they also had an atomic bomb to destroy the world if they lost
during the cold war. Now they say why Nato us planting anti missile systems
closer to them. Their people help to spread terror trough countries like
mine saying that the West is the Satan and they want their land. That's
what they teach in the church here, and not to work honest and start a
business yourself in the West because of new opportunities our ancestors
never had...

Maybe they will sell some to countries like China or the Middle East...
since they have money, but no power, courage and integrity. Three
words which mean the same thing.

Still, most of human kind can't see the patterns. Everyone here says there's
going to be a big war. In the last 2 years, Russia has lost 30% of it's economic
power, so the so called sanctions did work. I am not in favor of such measures,
and there have been a lot of mistakes done by the West. At the same time I don't
know the information the high western officials know.

You don't solve problems trough accusations and threats. Compassion,
understanding and collaboration have always showed the world can be a
better place for everyone, no matter the differences.

It looks like humanity hasn't decided yet if it wants to destroy itself of not

These Nato guys

Hellmut von Leipzig dies, driver Rommel, according to family sources, this week in Namibia died at the age of 95 years.
Hellmut von Leipzig was born on July 18, 1921 in the town of Keetmanshoop, Namibia. In 1904 his father had been stationed as a naval officer in the German colony, where he met his mother and established himself as a farmer. Hellmut spent his childhood there until 1937 when he made his first trip to Germany because his family sent him to Nuremberg to study engineering. At that time, the country is very turbulent times: Germany is immersed in a major crisis as a result of the Pact of Versailles and finally, when in 1939 the conflict broke out, is presented as a volunteer to go to AfrikaKorps because he "wanted to return to Africa". In October 1940 he comes as a sergeant to his beloved continent. Shortly thereafter, in early 1941, Erwin Rommel was appointed supreme commander of German forces in North Africa. The driver who had by then injured and was replaced by another who was serving Rommel only 24 hours (could not stand the pressure at which it looked subject).

An official said that among the troops was a certain Hellmut that was native to Namibia and called the next day at 6 in the morning to test. That day was marked forever in his memory: They were near Tobruk, an enclave which at that time was taken by British forces. As was his custom, Rommel wanted to inspect the front, so he asked him to take him in his car to those positions. Marshal wanted to get close to observe the enemy troops and kept saying "Follow, follow". Hellmut was driving when he suddenly noticed a strange mound and stopped the car. They had entered a minefield antitank !!. Rommel asked if he saw able to cross it and got out of the car, walking ahead and indicating the places where the explosives were. Once this obstacle, they found themselves under fire from British artillery. Only when two car tires burst because of the shrapnel, Rommel gave the order to turn around and Hellmut retraced his steps, retracing the minefield along the same path he had used: I had passed with flying colors the test and it was the new driver Marshal.

There he continued paying his services until March 1943 when after the defeat of the Afrika Korps accompanied him to a camp near Tunisia aviation. Rommel said goodbye to him and said, "You're going to a military academy in Germany, I've arranged everything." In Plattenburg he graduated as a lieutenant and continued his service in the Brandenburg Division. Greece, Yugoslavia and the Eastern Front are the destinations for which passes until finally is captured by the Red Army in May 1945. The temperament Hellmut makes him try to escape first from the train that takes him to Russia and later in the concentration camp where he is being held, although not achieved its goal. It is not until October 1955, ten years after the conclusion of the Second World War, which is released after Chancellor Adenauer's trip to Moscow (is the last to return). After returning to Germany, he meets who is his wife Sigrid Bender in Stuttgard and the following year, in 1956, travels to Argentina to see his brother Gernot, and from there travels to Namibia, where she works as a foreman in various holdings until finally acquires a farm and built his own farm in 1962.
Upon arrival, Hellmut is involved fully in their community and participate in various projects of assistance and cooperation. In 1986 he founded the German Cultural Association of Namibia (Deutschen Kulturrat) chaired until 1997. Nor has forgotten the problem of access to education in their country, being a member of the AGDS (Arbeits- und der Fördergesellschaft Schulvereine in Namibia) and participating also as a Knight of the Order of St. John in the construction of a school in the town of Otavi that houses 100 students. As he acknowledged in an interview, he does not plan to return to Germany "for the world" as it is considered Namibian.

be afraid of the false friend that hugs you

What's new about Nuclear weapons? Its a madness. And all countries are expanding their Nuclear technologies. Its not just Russia. Whereas the actual number of Nukes have been reduced between US-Russia due to START treaty, they continue to modernize Nuclear capabilities.

Some food for thought. START treaty was good deal. Who sabotaged it? It was US and NATO. Not Russia. US has a sphere of influence and by far greater than Russia. But Russia also has a Sphere of influence. Eastern countries of Russia like Belarus, Ukraine etc. But US overthrew Govt in Ukraine. US trying hard to overthrow Govt in Syria (the only naval base of Russia in ME).

It was US and NATO which tried to be adventurous. Russia didn't act as an aggressor after collapse of Soviet Union. Iraq, Libya, Yugoslavia, Afghanistan.... US/NATO unleashed hell while Russia remain silent. But when US overthrew Ukraine Govt, it was stepping on snake's tail.
