KeyBoard Layout

I understand that some or most of players use "WASD" kind of keyboard settings.

Lol, I am not a WASD enthusiast either, below is how I have my layout for a long time and I use it in other games too:

A habit i took in engineering offices : I use a USB keypad on my left hand, similar as this one

I used to use the arrow keys, but I switched to WSAD after a while because most new games use it, and it is just easier to keep track of.




The ALT key is probably extremely overused. I watched a video of myself playing once, and noticed I was spamming it to change views back and forth. 1st person is best when I'm shooting, but I like 3rd when I am just moving to look at the equipment (which is actually the reason I started modding).

Funny to see how everybody develops his own way to bind the keys. Once you find a good lay out muscle memory does the rest. This is why sometimes after playing a different game in which you can't make the exact same layout you suddenly throw a grenade into a group of team members
