I can do it.

Its tricky too. You swap the peakcap over with another helmet in (tables)

You do use an hex editor in type ASC2, I replaced Ru brigad helmet with Ru lodika is the peakcap, is only usable on allied side.

The 2 Russian head wears mention above are very similar in hex, Rus helm is not, i tryed to adjust it and crashed out. !! Over helmets and peakcaps have much differential in hex code, is very hard to adjust the code for these over types of helmets - peakcaps.

They is no guide to teach you... You have to lean yourself.

What do you want peakcap for ? allies or axis ? i can only achieve allied for now.

Proof.

there is an easier way, no need to mess around with tables :devil: . Put the item 110 in the maplist entry of a map where you want to have the peak cap. Like this:
<ITEM item_id="110" item_num="1"/>

Then remove all other helmets/head gear from the maplist entry.
<ITEM item_id="159" item_num="1" ammo_num="0"/> (RUS uniform yes, helmet no)

If you choose now one of the default soldier setups, you will have the peak cap as head gear.

Yeah, I think it works only with the preset, if it is saved correctly....
