What was the highest amount of players that could join a co-op server and play simultaneously? Is there a limit for the number of players, technically?
I think normally the co-op mode can handle only 6 players. I remember when playing on co-op servers with more than 6 players, the in-game positions of some players were not displayed.

Only the first 6 players that join are displayed on the map. I've played
with 15+ players on GS days and maximum was 14 on RpR servers.
