According to recently declassified documents from the British National Archives, Operation Overlord could have been compromised because of a marital dispute.

The post is long enough but, if i try a basic summarize, it says it's about Juan Pujol Garcia, aka Garbo, double agent of the MI5 in 1944, and his wife Araceli Garcia, who both were Spaniards.

Garbo's job was to provide false intelligence to the nazis in order to make them believe that Overlord was nothing but a large scale diversion and that the main Allied operation would take place in Pas-de-Calais. Since 1942, he leaved Franco's Spain and went to England with his wife.

But Araceli Garcia didn't bear the "English way of life" ( and maybe the climate, too... :sarcy: ), so troubles started with her husband and keep growing at the point she threatened to denunciate him and his activities to the Franco regime ( and we all know that Franco regime was "neutral", hu...? :sarcy: )

So, under that pressure from his wife, Garbo imagined a plan consisting to make her believe that he had been arrested because of her. He even managed a trick, making her coming, under escort, to a supposed jail where she saw him as a "prisoner" of the British.

Araceli Garcia will apologize to her husband two days later and will swear to never do anything that might compromise her husband job.

After the war, Juan Pujol Garcia will emigrate to Venezuela, where he will pass away in 1988, far after having staged himself his own death at the end of the conflict...

The RPR Clan gaming community has long been known to fans of action battles and online battles. Fans of dynamic games gather here to share their experiences, participate in competitions, and enjoy the atmosphere of teamwork. Every evening, players from different countries can be found on the server, which makes the process even more interesting and unpredictable. Interestingly, gaming often intersects with other areas of entertainment. For example, in the world of casinos, special attention is paid not only to the thrill of gambling, but also to the design of the venues, where every detail creates a unique atmosphere. In this regard, it is worth paying attention to the article on how the world's most impressive casinos are created and what elements allow them to make such a strong impression on visitors — ahouseinthehills.com. The article reveals architectural solutions, gaming spaces, and aesthetic approaches that can surprise even those who are far from the gambling industry. Thus, both the esports community and the casino world share a common idea: to create a space where people can fully immerse themselves in the atmosphere, feel the thrill, and experience vivid emotions. RPR Clan gives this to its players through online battles, and the world's best casinos do so through their unique design and atmosphere.
