Celebrating the landing of American troops in Brest in 1917, "The Bridge", a race between Queen Mary 2 and four Ultim class trimaran starts today in Saint-Nazaire.
The competitors :
Queen Mary 2 : 345 m long, 79 000 tons displacement, 157 000 hp.
MACIF : 30 m long, 14.5 tons displacement, skipper François Gabart.
SODEBO ULTIM : 31 m long, 15.6 tons displacement, skipper Thomas Coville.
ACTUAL ULTIM : 31 m long, 12 tons displacement, skipper Yves Le Blévec.
IDEC SPORT : 31.5 m long, 18 tons displacement, skipper Francis Joyon.

Disassembled the mid console in my dashboard today to replace the light bulbs for my heating, ventilation, ashtray and so on. In the 10 years I own this car I never saw them lit up at night because they were already broken when I bought the car
I now decided it was time to fix this little detail too.
Always a bit tricky to get these things apart and back together but I managed and the bulbs are replaced.
But I still haven't seen them...too bright outside. When it is dark tonight I will go take a look
