Alex, the first windstorm of the season 2020-2021 is expected for tonight and tomorrow in Brittany. The French meteorological services announce winds about 100 - 120 km/h in the lands and peaks up to 140 km/h on the coast this night. As a precaution, the ferries between Lorient and Groix island are suspended, same goes for the rail traffic on the Guimper-Rennes railway.

And when it reaches the south of France, please keep it there. Don't send it over.
Cheers!

I ordered today a pair of genuine French combat boot, model 1965 , officially called in the French army nomenclature "Brodequin de Marche à Jambières Attenantes" (BMJA), and nicknamed "rangeots" in French slang (i think Maquisard knows it well too). Of course, this model is no more manufactured but the stocks remain important and they will be at my disposal in the shop within three days. Of course, i know what i'm dealing with and i expect that, the first times, i'll suffer a bit, as we say in French army : "It is not the boot that is formed on the foot, it is the foot that is formed on the boot"...

A soldier and his boots...that's a tough relationship!
They make you cry when they're new
and then you cry again when they're too old.
