What's up at home today...?

Yes, that's how the situation is right now. People no longer have water for vegetables. The little village across the other side of town/ sort of opposite from where I live, they have water, but it's full of chalk. So they can't use it for everything. I remember a friend told me the authorities fill a tank with fresh water so people have good water for washing. Actually my area, except the hills where water is scarce because there are no pumps, is fine. We have two large rivers, so there's plenty of water now. The politicians haven't invested in irrigations after communism fell, so... Even those who existed and were good, they were left to rust and then the gypsies took them to scrap to earn some money. ROMANIA!

People here take our access to clean, fresh water for granted. I always get so annoyed when I walk past a house in my neighbourhood wasting clean water by dumping it on their lawn for hours streight every day just so they can have the greenest grass. At very least, they could use that water for a plant that helps pollinators or produces food 

Thats not even mentioning the pollutants ending up in one of the most delicate ecosystems in the province .....
