100th Annual Royal Agricultural Winter Fair
In the years after the First World War, people were hoping to continue to build the national identity that Canada had gained during the war and Cattleman W.A. Dyrden had just the idea on how to achieve this. He, and other farmers and herdsman decided to plan an exhibition of Canada's finest agricultural wares. In an effort to show Canada's ability to compete at a world-class level, the group was supported by all levels of Canadian Government, and approached King George V of England in 1920 to ask for approval to use the "Royal" moniker. With approval in hand, construction began on the Royal Coliseum in 1921, and in 1922 the first fair Royal Agricultural Winter Fair was held. It was a resounding success, and to this day the Royal continues to be among the best agricultural exhibitions in the world.

What did you find at the flea market, Ted?
Jake, can you take one of those animals home with you or it's just an exposition?

What did you sell ?
Only thing that bothers me about flea markets is the fact that not a single flea is sold there...
