It looks like my microwave, or rather the microwave oven, is broken. Have any of you ever tried repairing one of these devices yourself? It seems like only one switch is stuck somewhere.

How old is your oven, Ted? What model?
 

That device is pretty damn old + 20 years. Maybe I should just abandon it and use the air fryer I bought recently. 

So it's one of the small type of ovens. I thought it was a large one. Here we have electric repair shops. Maybe you can take your little oven to a repair shop and see what they can do. 

I have no experience with air fryers and I don't care much about them. 

no warm water from the tap. I have to heat water up in the kettle to wash. Don't ask when I had a shower last time. It's advantageous that we don't meet in real life. My Ford won't run,  something with the engine oil (this will be fixed next year at low price, I know the right guy).
