Very beautiful Nik and Morty. Thanks for the old memories

Me and my generation missed all of these. Not that we would've had any kind of
training at any level(here in Romania), but you two know better what you learn in the army.

Btw Morty, did the officers made you build those trenches or they were already built?

No Flo, this was taking place in a giant training ground with fixed trenches, tunnels and things like that.
This training ground is located in Ehra-Lessien, directly next to the Volkswagen race (testing) track.

Beside the combat shooting (day and night)
(sometimes with some painful new "impressions", when hitting the upper horizontal crossbars with the helmet when moving inside the pitchblack tunnels)

we also had to throw some real grenades

what was quite an exciting experience for us

Yes, this genrally was a very exciting time in 1995

Well mates, for ending this topic, here's a video that i found on the web last year. I had it on my ancient Youtube account but lost it after deleting this account because of sacro sanct copyright. Hope that this time on Vimeo it will remain a bit online...

I just added the soundtrack, extract from "The perfect kiss" by New-Order. This is a demonstration of ALAT tactical flight called Voltac. More than 230 km/h at less than 2 meters from ground, believe me, this is one of the most impressive experience that you can have when you're in a RHC... And also when you drive a white car at 3:13...
;)

Here's the link

And please, looking at this video, don't do as all of those people on the web who talk about "crazy French pilots"... Because they're not crazy, but just professionals. Thank you.

Arf ! Snow, thanks for this effort but if this is the good one video, it's not the good soundtrack. Sorry but i have some problems with Myspace too, so i think i give up with all those crapy host websites :upset:

Anyway, enjoy this video :gj:

I will create the video with this song and upload it on my channel tomorrow with "The perfect kiss" by New-Order.
The song goes way nicer with the video.

So stay tuned.

Edit: Here's something we can watch

The RPR Clan gaming community has long been known to fans of action battles and online battles. Fans of dynamic games gather here to share their experiences, participate in competitions, and enjoy the atmosphere of teamwork. Every evening, players from different countries can be found on the server, which makes the process even more interesting and unpredictable. Interestingly, gaming often intersects with other areas of entertainment. For example, in the world of casinos, special attention is paid not only to the thrill of gambling, but also to the design of the venues, where every detail creates a unique atmosphere. In this regard, it is worth paying attention to the article on how the world's most impressive casinos are created and what elements allow them to make such a strong impression on visitors — ahouseinthehills.com. The article reveals architectural solutions, gaming spaces, and aesthetic approaches that can surprise even those who are far from the gambling industry. Thus, both the esports community and the casino world share a common idea: to create a space where people can fully immerse themselves in the atmosphere, feel the thrill, and experience vivid emotions. RPR Clan gives this to its players through online battles, and the world's best casinos do so through their unique design and atmosphere.
