Looks like those who voted are AGAINST the Association Agreement BUT it still remains to be seen if the minimal of 30% will be achieved to make it a legal referendum. We need 30% of voters and we are hovering around that number. By now the voting is closed so we wait for the (unofficial) results, official result will be on April 12.

Edit: at this moment the percentage of voters could be 32% with a fault margin of 3%, so it's still unclear if the referendum is legal or not.

NL wrote: Tomorrow there will be a Dutch referendum (which I signed for) about the Approval Act of the Association Agreement between the European Union and Ukraine. I think I will vote against it, reasoning being:
-Ukraine is one of the most corrupt European countries and, as I understood, even in the top 35 corrupt countries in the world. Who will actually benefit from EU money? Not the average citizen I fear.
-Even if this is more a trade agreement it paves the way for entering the EU one step further, something I think the Ukraine is not ready for and, for The Netherlands, not much money is to be made, most Ukrainians are too poor to buy our products. Obviously it would be good for Ukraine to trade with us, but maybe not vice versa.
-The EU should not expand when it is having enough problems as is.
-It will piss Putin off most likely.

And the referendum is legal, enough people gave their vote and over 60% voted against the agreement.

Referendum in the Netherlands: the victorious eurosceptics

The Dutch voters said no massively on Wednesday to the agreement of association between Ukraine and the European Union.

A poster in the subway of Amsterdam, on which the leader of the Dutch far right, Geert Wilders, embraces Vladimir Putin. Many commentators believe that the "no" Dutch referendum is a victory for the Russian president.:parley:

Failure won with 61.1% and the participation rate eventually rises to 32.2%. Initial estimates placed him under 30%, which would have invalidated. The final results will be published on Tuesday by the electoral commission and, if the referendum is indeed validated, "the agreement [with Ukraine] can not be ratified as it is now," said Mark Rutte.

The other 70% should have voted...now they lose or maybe they wanted to give a message that referendums are not the way to go by not showing up.
