About 40 years ago, when I was in Guyana (Amazon), I was young and I wanted to taste these dishes served in restaurants. Today I don’t think they’re served yet, maybe in the jungle .
In any case , I didn't regret , well cooked they are succulent. In fact, in Kenya, I visited crocodile farms for trade, meat that looks like chicken

I don't think I've ever had any exotic animals. Do kangaroo and ostrich count?
But I have eaten things that western people usually don't eat (or have stopped eating).
Pig ears, duck tongue, chicken feet, various internal organs, stinky tofu, century eggs.
There's probably more things, I just can't remember at the moment.
