After the Gnossiennes posted by NL one week ago, it's a pleasure for me to continue with Erik Satie by posting these Gymnopédies,
performed here by Anne Queffélec, one of the very best specialist of the French composer's work.

I have to admit that Satie is one of my favourite composers, maybe because of his style of life, maybe because he dared to transgress the rules a bit too much rigid of a certain musical academicism, or maybe just because this is pretty.
