Smiley in shoutbox

I do not arrive any more, to post smileys in the shoutbox, I tried with and without space nothing works. On the other hand in the forum I have no problem. A solution?

How u add them ? from the smile selection below the shoutbox ?

If i clicked the smile it comes with spases.

Uppercase and lowercase C was the mixup...but anyway the spaces were missing.
But with Ucase c its not working or is it the spaces ? i dont want to make more rubbish into chatbox.

Yes, there is a php file with some arrays. There you have key => value pairs.
So for :cool: you get the image/emoticon you set as value. You would have to
copy+paste everything and add uppercase first letter to it.

I thought Patrick was joking with the spaces and uppercase first letter.

Found it! I had to remove the automatic translations in Chrome
