Decreasing fps and heavy lag in no time

Hello!

Since I restarted playing H&D2 some months ago, I experience constantly decreasing fps on custom maps, as from the CMP. In some cases I had to quit the game after 20 minutes because it became a slide show. My first thought has been a problem with my internet connection, but my ping was always around 25-35, so I guess it might be my RAM, the graphics card or some kind of bug or incompatibility with H&D2 and my OS that causes the game to flood the RAM.
Morty also wrote, it could be caused by erroneous scripts within the CMP-maps.
As I only experienced this problem while playing on coop, he might be right.
My question is, does anyone know the exact reason for the lag and how to fix or avoid it without restarting the game everytime?

I'm playing H&D2 Sabre Squadron v.1.12.0 on this notebook:

This is mine. And it's running like oiled. Make sure you reinstall your windows at least 2 times per year. And I bet if I do a TeamViewer connection with you, I can find your HDD full of useless programs installed, and also if the windows is old....
Is your laptop getting hot? I mean it's base? You can use a laptop cooler for it, and it helps in two ways: it cools down your laptop base a bit and it wont let any dust to come up in the processor's cooler..
