"Not A Valid Version" - H&D2 was created by tank

While I have been able to see some of your servers on my Multiplayer screen for quite some time, they are "greyed out" so that I cannot access them.

I have downloaded the HD2 Connect program but whenever I use it to try and enter theapplicable server it give me the "Not A Valid Version" message and I have to leave the program.

I just did a search and there was a couple of queries on that message but none that seemed applicable to my problem.

I have been playing on 1 or 2 of the GoP servers but they don't seem to be available the last day or so.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

download and install patch 1.12,
click
