Problem with in-game text

Problem with in-game text was created by Sasha
Here one player from the Russian community had such a problem :

When you install, the execution error of decode.exe



As a result, this is garbage with the text :



The game was installed several times with preliminary full uninstallation. Several repack games were used (one of them is obviously working) the installation problem disappeared when the antivirus was disconnected. However, the problem with the text remained .

The player on the PC installed 64 bit Windows 7 Ultimate. Tried to change the settings in the registry and put the original folder TEXT but the problem remained

Can any of the local members of the forum meet such a problem? and knows how to solve it would be grateful

I have the same Windows 7 Ultimate, but it's 32 bit.
Have you tried installing a Non - Gold Edition version?
I mean the version we used to mount the cd's to install...

he has the version of the Gold Edition that most Russian players use, including me (ISO disk image)

and I have never seen such a problem

seems you miss some text files. Maybe your Anti-Virus program deleted some files?!

Check if "Text" folder in your HD2 main directory is existing and contains the subfolders/files shown on the images attached.
