TLC - Recon behind enemy lines was created by Damni
So after watching Bravo Two Zero, my little brain came up with an idea.
(we might have done something similar in the past but I can't remember, so let's pretend it's my idea)

How about a style were we:
  • infiltrate the area
  • collect information without being spotted
  • maybe some sabotage or assassination
  • exfiltrate the area
We would be ignoring the builtin mission tasks and make up our own.
If you like the idea, which maps could we try this on? I thought of Burgundy 1 and Sicily 1 so far.

Thoughts?

PS: just throwing it out there for planning purposes.

Great idea! The TLC is intended to have players create these kinds of scenarios. I've tried one or two scenarios with very limited equipment and it was both tense and entertaining to play like that.

Some suggestions: night missions(Not Norway or Czech Resistance), more like you mentioned... open fields that allow some kind of movement. In my imagination I would add Brest Ext, Libya 1, Libya 3, Burgundy 2, Czech 1, Arctic 1 Ext aaaand of course Africa 1

Warning: Spoiler!

What would it look like? One guy is sent to gather intel or assassinate a target while the rest is waiting for him? And what kind of information would he be after? Like, how many enemies are patrolling a given area? That wouldn't be a good idea since most of us know all the maps like the back of our hand.

What would it look like?

In my head it works liked this:

A small team is dropped in the mission area. They then reach a vantage point where they can see the objective.
One part of the team provides security, the other part gathers information and sends it to HQ.
One man plays the part of the HQ side and receives/writes down what the forward team sees.
If the mission is compromised at any point the team heads towards one of the previously decided extraction points.

The assassination/sabotage part was just an extra idea.

And what kind of information would he be after?

Literally anything that could be useful back home to devise an attack plan.
Just off the top of my head:
  • are there patrols? what weapons do they have? how alert are they?
  • what defence systems are in the area?
  • are there vehicles? do they transport equipment/troops?
  • are there officers? how many?
  • are there civilians? how many?

For now it's just a "what do you think" sort of thread.
I don't have a date yet (plus the 6 Nations is starting this weekend )

I was also thinking how to simulate the radio situation using TS. Any idea?

The RPR Clan gaming community has long been known to fans of action battles and online battles. Fans of dynamic games gather here to share their experiences, participate in competitions, and enjoy the atmosphere of teamwork. Every evening, players from different countries can be found on the server, which makes the process even more interesting and unpredictable. Interestingly, gaming often intersects with other areas of entertainment. For example, in the world of casinos, special attention is paid not only to the thrill of gambling, but also to the design of the venues, where every detail creates a unique atmosphere. In this regard, it is worth paying attention to the article on how the world's most impressive casinos are created and what elements allow them to make such a strong impression on visitors — ahouseinthehills.com. The article reveals architectural solutions, gaming spaces, and aesthetic approaches that can surprise even those who are far from the gambling industry. Thus, both the esports community and the casino world share a common idea: to create a space where people can fully immerse themselves in the atmosphere, feel the thrill, and experience vivid emotions. RPR Clan gives this to its players through online battles, and the world's best casinos do so through their unique design and atmosphere.
