So I placed an order for that USB sound card. I should arrive sometime
next week. I hope it works this time. Also got another standalone mike.

Finally got a new soundcard and a new standalone mike.
I found out that the incorporated one and the microphone jack work fine.
Now I have 3 microphones. One standalone, one headset with mike and
one headset with detachable mike. It looks like if I plug headset and mike
separately, I don't mean that they were on the same jack before, they work
just fine. I don't know what the problem was. Probably a system reinstall
will fix it since drivers reinstall didn't.
Just detached the mike from the mike headset and pluged it the mike jack.
Before, even if it has it's one nicely colored pink jack, it doesn't work. Maybe
the wires get intersected somewhere...
My talk for tonight is to manage the crazy wires on the table
My old headset was just fine.

Btw, I found a book of math on the subject you told me about. Well, I start to remember
such stuff after a long time. For me the key is to take everything from zero and make
your own universe of understanding. Don't focus on what has been explained at school
or what you're supposed to know. That's how most people get stuck. Find different
sources of learning and after you master all this, you find out you're never going to
need it anyway
