Greetings from an veteran HD2 player

Greetings!
I am Black Akres. I have played HD and HD2 since they were originally released.
HD2 ruled my free time for about 6 or 7 years until I took a break because I didn't have internet connection where I lived.
Now that I am back online I am enjoying all the action again.

I have done a lot of mod work in the past. I made three maps that are on the RpR servers. La Resistance, Czech Resistance Day, Czech Resistance Night.
I am pleased to see players are enjoying my maps that I made in 2009.

Very good maps. I think these maps are a lot of scripted, so much hard work, I guess. Good job :devil:

Yes, LA resistance took me about a month, working 8 hours a day.

Good to see you're still around too!

While I did frontier the partisan styled co-op maps,
some of my favorite ones of all time were the POW maps.
Basically they were Objective maps such as Czech4/5. The modders took away the flags so the maps wouldn't change....
essentially everyone would role play. Some of the most exciting jail breaks I've ever experienced were on those servers.
We need something like that again!

As for future mods from me, we'll see. I am learning that there have been quite a few new mod tools that I am not up to snuff on.
I can hardly remember how I made the original maps myself with the Hex and DCED. Looks like there are some new an improved modders out there.
Although Zdenda and Hawk in my mind were amongst the best when i was modding in 2009. I would be glad to help anyone with ideas. I see so many cool things that could happen in these maps still.
