H&D2 "Lost Content" Early-Beta-Alpha Things was created by ShayoX
Created this topic to discuss everything about cut content and features of H&D2. 
Big thanks to GamersHell for providing
the screenshots.
I'll start with putting some maps together from early screenshots,
concepts, cut features and posting some screenshots too:
Let's take a look at the cut map from screenshot with bridge:
Here's a map of ship a containing the Enigma on Norway and screenshot
of unused uniform and early Norway ship concept which for the map was made
Here's some Czech Sawmill early concept of mission and old map design.
Another cut map which looks amazing just like the first one at the very top
of my post.
Burma and 5 same soldiers on one map, i think this is early multiplayer testing.
Africa early canyon and plane models.
I will finish here, for now.
If anybody is interested in early-beta-alpha things in game, I am more than
happy to conversate about it in this topic.

If you don't like these early-beta-alpha things, please appreciate the
effort i put into this.

Very interesting to see what the game could have been. These screens are likely from before the engine update. If I recall correctly, the devs pretty much had a finished game, but decided to postpone the release by quite some time to port it to the LS3D engine we all know and love.
The character models definitely look better in LS3D - the models/textures in these screens are nowhere near as natural looking, and everyone appears to have the same pouches, as opposed to different pouches relating to the equipment you are using.
And I'm going to say it - that old UI looks plain ugly..
The maps look really cool, mind. It would be nice to have some diversity in H&D2, especially in the European theatre.
I do notice an attitude indicator on the screenshot with the plane. Perhaps you were originally able to fly it yourself?
All in all I think the changes were probably for the best. We may have lost some cool looking maps, but who knows if we'd still be playing this game today had it shipped in its original state.

As I remember first and second map can be found from game files.
And also this: (some bridge and looks like a house up on the hill)
Its resized, the actual size is the pic on upper right corner.

like those BF 109s on Africa 1
but then comes the map glitches and you can see blanks in there, you sure
know what I am "saying".
Finally they decided to ditch the plane control by player and left it to automatic control by script.
There are loads and loads of unused things and cut things
from the early game.
I think we could carry ammo for Heavy MGs and even deploy them!

Player can carry MG ammo and thats it, nothing to do with it.
In mission Liege, there is a ammobox with mg ammo on the hill (enemy side) and in mission Blitz, near Panther tank is a ammo box with tank ammo.

This can is actually a German gas mask container.
HD2 and SS have DEMO game, with only one mission as I remember, maybe there is something different...
