I might release new version next week (then it should work for both known versions: 384 / 395)

But now just enjoy this spinning taco:

What i was thinking might be complicated got easy.
Some memory addresses only needed new base address.

Now its required to start Taco-M from Mafia game folder (it reads engine version from LS3DF.dll)
(Version is needed to select correnct addresses)

My tests approved its working.
(it still has problem with in-car camera)

Any idea why the train does have a bit of lag when moving along side it? Like it's moving in frames...

Is it refresh related?

I use the original version of Mafia installed from DVD ROM under Windows 7 64bit, requirements recommend Win XP. It’s not 100% stable, sometimes crashes when playing long and mostly when ending the game. Both TACO M versions don’t work with it, saying access violation. I copied Taco Program to the Mafia main directory.

Access denied / violation   relates to memory, it means it cannot access some memory locations.

There might be 3. version of LS3DF.dll...
GOG version has a Size on disk: 852 KB (872 448 bytes)

Also it might be problem with Game.exe,  all versions i have tested used cracked Game.exe
Once i made a search and found 5 different Game.exe cracked files.

If its possible try to find some other Game.exe files that will work with your game verion and maybe it will work with Taco-M also.

***
Found one more engine version: 393    (LS3DF.dll size: 864 256 bytes)
With this version Taco-M does not work but it does not show any errors.

For now all known engine versions:    384, 393, 395

Game.exe files i have:
2 355 200 bytes (cracked GOG game version)
3 424 256 bytes (not cracked)
2 990 080 bytes (cracked)
3 129 344 bytes (not cracked)
991 232 bytes (cracked)
