TACO-M

Are you having problems with running Mafia, Ted? Or want to be able to use TACO-M?

The game runs under Windows 7 for me with the little problems mentioned, but it’s ok as I don’t play it very often. Would be fine to be able to use TACO-M for (maybe) later projects. Right now I have a little freeride mod which is almost finished. 

My Game.exe has 4.087.808 Bytes. It’s a German full version installed from DVD ROM which might be censored in some way compared with the original game, killing civilians is not possible etc.

What about using some other version of Mafia ?
I have 3 of them for testing, v1.0 is hard to find.
Most versions i have tested its works.
 

GOG 1.2 and other 1.2 and Russian version. 
It doesnt work with the russian version, it has unknown 393 version, i try to make it work with this one also.

Can you send this exe file ? then maybe i can test it.

***I added a game engine display to Taco-M. (just run it, no need to start game.)
 

It will also display engine version for HD2....not much of a info, it shows 559 for me.






 

Here are 2 files from my installation. Taco M doesn’t run with it, says access violation repeatedly and must be stopped with task manager. I use Win7 64 bit.

 

Your  dll is 395 (same as GOG version), so its known and will work with correct exe file, 
Your Game.exe didnt work with my versions installed, even if i mounted iso file.

I can only suggest to search some alternative Game.exe  or  use more popular version of Mafia.
