Sight Alignment Patch for Sasha's New Weapons Mod v1.1 - v2025-05-27
====================================================================
This mod adjusts the sights of nearly all new weapons in Sasha's NWM v1.1 so they are aligned correctly to the centre of the screen. It was not necessary to adjust the MP 18, MG 34, Lewis gun, or any sniper rifle as their crosshair graphic is always perfectly aligned.

Installation:
Install Sasha's NWM v1.1 first. Extract the Models and Tables folders into your game folder.

Pistol Aiming Mod for Sasha's New Weapons Mod v1.1 (NWM_PAM) - v2025-05-31
=================================================
This mod adds the ability to aim with all 6 of the default pistols available in the game as well as the 11 pistols added in Sasha's NWM. Aiming was not added to the flare gun.
The zoom factor has been calibrated at 1.1x. This also includes my sight realignment patch for NWM v1.1.
All pistols have had their aimed accuracy improved, though they remain the least accurate weapons in the game.

Installation:
Install Sasha's NWM v1.1 first. Copy the Models and Tables folders into your game folder. This mod is NOT COMPATIBLE with any mod that adds new items or edits item attributes via items.sav or changes animations via FpvAnims.sav. The mod is only required on the game client, not the server.

For the default pistols, NWM_PAM uses the first person pistol models from ShayoX's enhanced weapon models, but his entire mod is highly recommended: https://www.nexusmods.com/hiddenanddangerous2courageunderfire/mods/2

Hello! Why did you increase the weight of the MP40, MP44, G43, and 26 ZB ammunition? For example, the MP40 ammunition went from 0.20 kg to 0.67 kg. You can't carry much of it anymore, that's crap. And then you made the file so that you can't reset the weight back to normal.

You also made the 26 ZB weapon even heavier, from 8.84 kg to 9.65 kg. Why all this?

The weight changes were my doing since this uses a mod I made as a starting point.

Generally speaking, in the multiplayer PvP modes I find the full auto weapons to be overpowered. So I increased the weights of the guns and their ammo to historically accurate numbers (or as close as I could find or estimate), but as a positive trade off also increased their aimed accuracy. So if you stop and actually aim now, you won't need as much ammo either.

Increasing item weights has another positive effect though. It forces more decision making when creating a loadout for your character since you may have to make trade offs of your own at this stage. My recent addition of aimable pistols actually makes this easier too though, and really helps snipers and light machine gunners.

TL;DR it encourages actual thinking about inventory management instead of "hehe max ammo and 3 stickys with bren gun"
