Well, Snowman and Morty, i hope that this movie will please you. Please let me add some words about another documentary. It's a pity, i know well that few people will understand it because it's in French, but if there is only a single documentary to be seen about these men and this group, it's that one. It can be found on YouTube, in six episodes, under the title: "GIGN, le temps des secrets" (GIGN, time of secrets). Very far from clichés and preconceived ideas, we shall find only very few "strong" pictures there. The strength of this report is somewhere else, in the sense that it's about a testimony from the inside, intimate and human, about the vision these men have on themselves, their hierarchy and their mission in the society. It's often moving, frequently funny and sometimes disenchanted on some aspects (the scene of the inventory of medals in Thierry Prungnaud home or when Michel Bernard speak about "government success" are particularly revealing…).

Based on the book by Michel Bernard, himself former operational at the GIGN, a thorough work, where it will sometimes be necessary to read between the lines to seize all the dimensions with it…

But even if you don't read French very well, that costs nothing to try…
