A little flashback for that...
This piece by Al Di Meola was the main theme of the night broadcast on Radio AVB, wich was born in 1982 and was the very first free radio in Lorient, after president Mitterrand ended the State monopoly of broadcasting when he came to power in 1981.
Maybe you wouldn't think, but free radios in France, it was a big change in this time. Great memories...

And here is the theme of my broadcast, when i participated in Radio Méduse, the original, installed in the historic premises of the Foyer Soleil, wich is a residence for invalid people in my district of Keryado. In this time, in 1982, it was really the beginnings and everybody was voluntary. The studio, it was two wooden boards on trestles and vinyl records squeezed on shelves made of breezeblocks. Some came every day and others less often, the program schedule was thus variable and fluctuating but my friends Olivier, Franck and Jean-Michel "Che", we came on Thursdays evenings, for a three hours broadcast. We made like that six weeks, and after we stopped, we were students and each had his own life to manage. Anyway, it was the good times...
So, here comes the great Jimi, and it's the real genuine vinyl version...
