We know that. The problem is to find out what is causing the key conflicts.

PROBLEM SOLVED *STEAM VERSION USED*
So my Retail and Pirate H&D2 versions with original Retail CD-Key were popping up CD-Key in use errors so I got curious and decided to check what Steam version would do. This is what I have done to achieve this success:
1.Installed H&D2 Steam version
2.Launched it
3.Changed Steam default CD-Key to my Retail CD-Key using RegEdit
4.Joined =RpR= Private which I couldn't before and no CD-Key in use pop out!
5.???
6.Profit

So did you check if steam replaces the cd key after relaunch? I think Steff also tested it and it worked for only one session?

Yes Steam replaces CD-Key in registry right after you start H&D2 so you need to change it everytime.NL wrote: So did you check if steam replaces the cd key after relaunch? I think Steff also tested it and it worked for only one session?
