HD2 - ugly LODs on british paratrooper helmets

Hello, i've been replaying some single player missions and im noticing these awful LODs on brit para helmets, is there any way to get rid of them?

That LOD sucks and messed up one of my mod projects which i had to cancel because of that :devil:
Anybody knows anything about that LOD? Would be nice if we could maybe extend it's normal render so it doesn't look like shite

After further investigation the issue seems to be isolated to the Operation Houndsmith missions, so my guess would be the draw distance is linked to the map, now that i think about it, that was also the case with mafia, a game on the same engine.

Every time I see this cyclist on TV, wearing his helmet like this, I immediately think of this HD2 bug (which I'm pretty sure I've seen somewhere else, not just the mission you've mentioned, as I've never played it).

Do you guys remember Jacobston's RpR uniform mod? Perfect
uniform, one bug. In the distance the lower part of the shirt/top
has white texture beyond a certain distance.

I need to reinstall that mod because it's so cool
