Co-op mod Normandy2o_Battle

New H&D 2 Sabre Squadron co-op mod on the Normandy2 occupation map converted for co-op (or single player) mode. Some obstacles were removed to enable better driving and shooting from certain windows. The check2.bin was edited to make additional areas accessible for bots and not only players.

You have to protect and support allied Sherman tanks or you’ll face huge problems with the enemy tanks. The allied Shermans might take out more or less enemy heavy vehicles which brings some random elements (without being scripted). The main idea was to create a new map for co-op mods, not a completely new mission.

It’s not 100 percent bug-free although the scenery is almost identical with the single player map. Even checkpoints of the original single player map have too wide ranges so that bots might get stuck on roofs or near walls.

Some models and maps files must be installed from the latest CMP.

Co-op mission made from N2Bocc map.
Time it took to make this: maximum 10 hours.

Enemy is static !   
Enemy activation and enemy items are random. (sticky and dynamite is what you need)
It has some visual bugs in some areas ammo boxes are in shadows.
Player starts somewhere in middle and it creates a way to move each direction.
At the end you go to Bank or close to it.

The one who hesitates is lost !

Thank you, Stern! It's on our Map Test server and download pages. Have fun testing, report any bugs and Stern... if you make any changes please say so here so we can update and notify everyone.

From an edit of the Nm2B map I started a while ago, tree.klz file with fix for the missing collision at one edge of the bank building, where you can walk through the wall. Also ground collision was added to the terrain in the south east where the Sherman starts in the SP mission.
